A set of four vintage dining chairs in bamboo and rattan, dating approximately to the 1970s. The open diamond lattice back is the defining feature, with rattan cane constructed three-dimensionally and bound at every intersection.

The bamboo frame joints are secured throughout with tight wrapped rattan binding, even and well-executed. The rear legs sweep outward at the base in a confident curved arc before meeting the floor, due to controlled bending of bamboo poles at that diameter, creating a chair with real craft in it.
