A mid-century Italian drinks trolley in the manner of Cesare Lacca, whose work is characterised by sculptural, flowing forms in fine woods softened with brass detailing, a hallmark of the light, refined elegance of Italian post-war design.

Circa 1950s, crafted in teak with brass fittings at the joints and standing at 67cm high, 82cm wide and 44cm deep, the sculptural frame is shaped with flowing supports and integrated handles, while two suspended glass shelves create a balanced, open structure suited to serving or display. Raised on castors for ease of movement, it reflects the light, elegant approach associated with Italian barware of the period.
