Haus of Palette is a retail space in Hove that aims to inspire.
We opened in December 2025 as a small shop with big ambitions, and we've been grateful for the warm response ever since.
After countless conversations with customers about interiors, styling and sourcing pieces for their homes, we're excited to offer interior services alongside the shop.
Whether you need a full room design, the finishing touches to complete a scheme, or guidance somewhere in between, we'd love to help.
Design help, at whatever level you need it

Interiors that enhance how you actually live
Our approach starts with function: understanding how you live, how hard a room needs to work, and how well it supports your daily routines, before we think about how it should look.
We take into account layout, storage and furniture alongside the realities of everyday life, whether that's children, pets, hobbies or a collection you'd like properly displayed.
Once a space works for you, we bring it together with careful styling, colour, texture and well-chosen pieces, so the result is as practical as it is beautiful.

"it feels like more than a business, it feels like we're building a community."

How we work
Every project starts with a free initial consultation at your home, usually 45 to 60 minutes, where we look at the space, talk through your goals, and work out the right level of support for you.
From there, we put together a plan built around your project: design concepts, floor plans, furniture layouts and styling recommendations, with sourcing suggestions where useful. We can manage the whole process for you, coordinating deliveries and finishing touches, or hand over the plan for you to put in place yourself.

Our Services
A good place to start if you need a steer on layout, colour or furniture placement. Sessions can include a written summary to refer back to, and we run shorter, focused versions for shelves, bookcases and other small vignettes.
For rooms that are nearly there. We source pieces to complete the scheme, then return to style the space in person.
For a fuller transformation. We reconsider everything from finishes to furniture, and for larger, multi-room projects we offer a bespoke, phased service from concept through to installation, sourcing pieces further afield where needed.

Nice to meet you, I'm Emily
My background spans editorial styling, visual merchandising and a personal interest in interiors, vintage and antiques. After a degree in Fashion Journalism, early work in editorial environments helped me develop a strong understanding of visual storytelling and composition. That progressed into styling, and later into visual merchandising, where I learned how people move through and experience a space.
Alongside this, years of self-taught DIY and hands-on work with interiors gave me a practical grounding. That combination of styling, spatial awareness and problem-solving shapes how I approach projects today, and gave me the confidence to design the shop and implement the plans myself.
Through Haus of Palette, that experience shows in the design of the space and the blending of vintage and contemporary pieces, with the aim of inspiring everyone who visits.
