A sun-form decorative plate in warm ochre-yellow glazed earthenware, the rim formed into bold pointed rays that radiate outward in the manner of a stylised sun. The colour sits somewhere between turmeric and old gold. Handmade in the Moroccan pottery tradition - the slightly uneven glaze and hand-pressed form are part of the character. Displayed here on a brass plate stand, though it works equally well hung on a wall.
